	Name: Near of Nightmares (born Near Dios) Race: Human (Half-ork) Age: 15 Height: 5'3" (160cm) Weight: before amputation 120lbs (54kg), after 84lbs (38kg), with mecha 147lbs (67kg) Near was born into the royal family of Izwald a city state within the Ethenegaran Khanates in Mystara in mid-summer AD 995. She has 4 elder siblings and 3 younger. Born a hermaphrodite, she had been referred to as male for a while, up until her 9th birthday when she officially became recognized s a girl due to her insistence. Intelligent, though a little absent minded, she was taught to become a leader of armies, and underwent training under the knight Lady Agrias, earning the title Knight of the Black Serpent at age 13. A run in with a bullette during her training lost her her right leg. Though it was regenerated, it still left a scar that encircled her leg. The various other scars on her body came from both her training and from when she left her kingdom to improve herself mentally and physically upon earning her title as knight. Though the scars look fierce and horrible, they aren't the worst she received. She lost her left arm in a battle defending a goblin tribe from a horde of ghoulish hoplites, earning her first mechanical limb afterward for her bravery and aid. She later became chieftain of the tribe after the previous leader died, adding a new title to her name. Though several hardships became of it, she bore them well. At one point, she dueled the baron of the lands the tribe had settled upon. Despite losing, she impressed him enough to earn their right to stay, however the injuries she sustained her great, and the medics of the tribe saw a great chance. They removed her remaining fleshy limbs, replacing them with stronger robotic limbs! She has adapted well to her new body, and recently acquired a mechanical-drider body for her help in defending a Dwarven city. Near, being half-ork, ages slightly faster than a full-blooded human, and reached full maturity shortly before turning 15. It's not known exactly why she was born a hermaphrodite, but there is occaisionally the hiccup with half-orks being born that way. She is the character of a friend. I think it's quite an interesting character, and I can't wait to learn more about her.
