| This setting is in an heroic fantasy world (so yay, dragons, magic, etc...) and within it lives Avara. Her species (elf? demoness?) is well known for its psychic powers. However, those are only gained through the loss of limbs: the more you lose, the more you gain... call it a fair trade. In Avara's case, it was decided she would give up on all her limbs in order to gain levitation, partial telekinesis and telepathy. You can see her right now, in an Agora, waiting to meet up with her party. This drawing comes from a friend's request. I recall her story isn't exactly like that, but it would have been way too complicated to explain Avara's whole story. | ||

 Gojiro7 (22:54, 04-07-10) its a very nice concept to gain abilities through losing parts of your body. if you ever delve into this concept again do you think you could add an Aura around her or her stumps? I think that would better visually imply Psychic powers rather then her just floating in air (When I first saw her I though she was like Phantom limb from the Venture Brothers) | ||
